Plausible on your phone,
answered.
Straight answers about Plausible Analytics on iPhone and Android, and about Tracksible, the independent app that puts your Plausible dashboard on your phone.
Plausible, briefly.
What is Plausible Analytics?
Plausible Analytics is an open-source, privacy-friendly web analytics tool, made and hosted in the EU. It shows traffic, sources, pages, locations, devices and goal conversions on one dashboard, without cookies. It is an alternative to Google Analytics.
How does Plausible work?
You add a small script to your website. It counts pageviews, referrers, devices, countries and custom events without cookies or personal data, and shows them on a single-page dashboard. Your stats live on Plausible Cloud or on your own Community Edition server. A mobile app such as Tracksible reads that dashboard with a Stats API key or a share link. It does not add a second tracking script to your site.
Is Plausible free to use?
Plausible Cloud is a paid subscription with a 30-day free trial, and no credit card is needed to start. Plausible Community Edition is free: it is open source under the AGPL and runs on your own server, so hosting is your cost. Tracksible works with both, and Tracksible itself is free for one website.
How much does Plausible Analytics cost?
Plausible Cloud starts at $9 a month for one site at up to 10,000 monthly pageviews (Starter). Growth is $14 and Business is $19 a month at the same traffic level, and prices rise with pageviews. Check Plausible’s pricing before you subscribe. Plausible fees are separate from Tracksible Pro.
Is Plausible Analytics self-hosted?
It can be. Plausible Cloud is hosted for you by Plausible in the EU. Plausible Community Edition (CE) is the free, AGPL-licensed release you install on your own server. Our guides cover self-hosting Plausible Community Edition and installing Plausible on Coolify. Tracksible connects to either: enter your instance address.
Is Plausible better than Google Analytics?
It depends on what you need. Plausible uses no cookies and collects no personal data, so most sites can run it without an analytics consent banner, and the dashboard fits on one page. Google Analytics 4 is free and goes deeper on advertising, user-level funnels and Google product integrations. Plausible publishes its own Plausible vs Google Analytics comparison.
Your stats, on the phone.
Does Plausible have an app for iPhone or Android?
Plausible’s website does not list a native iPhone or Android app (checked 26 September 2026). The dashboard opens in a mobile browser. Independent apps, including Tracksible, Applausible and Arbory, connect to the Plausible dashboard you already have. Compare them in Plausible Analytics mobile apps compared.
Is there a Plausible Analytics app for iPhone?
Yes, from independent developers. Tracksible is on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. The Plausible Analytics iPhone app page shows what it does.
What is the analytics app in Android?
Android has no built-in app for website analytics. To check a Plausible site on Android, open the dashboard in your browser or install a companion app. Tracksible is on Google Play; the Plausible Analytics Android app page shows what it does.
What can I see in a Plausible mobile app?
In Tracksible: live visitors, visitors, pageviews, bounce rate and views per visit, top, entry and exit pages, traffic sources, countries, regions and cities, devices and browsers, goal conversions, and written insights. With Pro, a visitor snapshot can sit on your home screen. See every feature.
How do I connect Plausible to a phone app?
Use a Plausible share link or a Stats API key. A share link opens the one dashboard it was made for, with no API key; an API key suits sites you administer. Read share link vs API key and the setup steps.
Should I allow iPhone analytics?
That setting is something else. Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements controls whether your iPhone shares diagnostic data with Apple. It has nothing to do with website analytics, and Tracksible works the same whether it is on or off.
Free, Pro and the details.
Is Tracksible free?
Yes, for one website, with no trial clock. Free includes Realtime, Today, Yesterday and Last 7 Days, plus overview, audience, goals and insights. Get it on the App Store or Google Play.
Is Tracksible Pro a subscription?
No. Pro is a $9.99 one-time in-app purchase. It unlocks unlimited websites, every supported date range, custom ranges and home screen widgets. Your store shows the local price before you pay. Compare Free and Pro.
Do home screen widgets need Pro?
Yes. Widgets require Pro on iPhone and Android. A widget is a recent visitor snapshot, not a live dashboard, and the operating system decides when it refreshes. More on the widget page.
Does Pro transfer between iPhone and Android?
No. Purchases are store-specific. Restore Pro with the same Apple or Google account that bought it, from Settings › Restore purchase.
Do I need a Tracksible account?
No. There is no Tracksible account and no Sign in with Apple. Connect with a Plausible share link or a Stats API key; the connection details stay on your device. See where your data goes.
Does Tracksible work with self-hosted Plausible?
Yes. Plausible Cloud and self-hosted Community Edition both work. Available metrics depend on your server version, permissions and plan. See the self-hosted Plausible page.
Is Tracksible an official Plausible app?
No. Tracksible is an independent app by Webjuice. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Plausible Insights OÜ.
Which languages is Tracksible in?
English and Spanish. Pick English, Español or Automatic in the app’s Settings.
