A mobile browser can open Plausible. A companion app is for the daily check-in: live visitors, sources, goals and optional home screen widgets. Tracksible is one such companion. It does not replace Plausible Analytics.
The mobile browser is still a desktop page
Plausible’s dashboard is built for a desk. On a phone it is usually the same page, scaled down. You pinch to zoom, hunt for the right tab, and log in again.
That works in a pinch. It is a poor daily check-in. The layout, the login and the chrome are still desktop.
What a companion app is (and is not)
A companion app connects to a Plausible dashboard you already have and shows the metrics on a phone screen. It is not an SDK for collecting events inside a mobile product. It is not a replacement for Plausible, and buying the app does not include a Plausible plan.
Tracksible is an independent companion by Webjuice. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Plausible Insights OÜ.
What to look for
Start with the device you use, then the connection method, then the free tier.
- Device. Confirm a public listing for iPhone or Android before you plan around screenshots. An iPhone frame is not proof of an App Store listing.
- Connection. Share link, Stats API key, or both. Cloud and self-hosted are separate questions from the phone OS.
- Free tier. One site versus a trial. Whether widgets sit behind a paid upgrade.
- Widgets. A home screen snapshot is not a live dashboard. Check whether they require payment.
Tracksible’s current offer
Tracksible’s features describe live visitors, sources, audience, goals and written insights in a dedicated app. Free is one site with Realtime, Today, Yesterday and Last 7 Days. Pro is a one-time $9.99 in-app purchase for unlimited sites, every supported date range and home screen widgets. The store shows the local price. It is not a subscription. Plausible’s own fees are separate.
There is no Tracksible account. Tracksible is on the App Store and Google Play.
Device pages: Plausible Analytics iPhone app and Plausible Analytics Android app.
Compare other companions
Tracksible is not the only companion. For sourced, dated comparisons of Tracksible, Applausible and Arbory, read Plausible Analytics mobile apps compared. That guide keeps every “not verified” caveat. This article does not re-judge those products.
Set up Tracksible
Install the app from the App Store or Google Play; the download page lists both. Paste a share link or a Stats API key. Point self-hosted users at their instance address. There is nothing to register with Tracksible.
