Using a mobile app with self-hosted Plausible

Tracksible talks to the instance you configure. It is a viewer, not a self-hosted analytics server.

Tracksible talks to the instance you configure. It is a viewer, not a self-hosted analytics server. Community Edition still runs on your side. The app retrieves statistics from that address.

Self-hosted Plausible still needs a way to check stats away from the desk

Self-hosting keeps events on your server. It does not, by itself, give you a phone layout. Opening Community Edition in a mobile browser is still a desktop dashboard.

A companion app is for the check-in: live visitors, sources, goals and optional widgets, pointed at your instance.

Connect with an instance address

Enter the instance address plus a Stats API key or a share link. The same app talks to Plausible Cloud or Community Edition. The self-hosted page and getting started cover the steps.

API key requirements depend on your Plausible plan. See Plausible’s Stats API documentation.

What the app stores on the device

Tracksible stores the instance address, API key, share links, site names and display settings on the device. It does not create a Tracksible account. It does not store your events.

Insights are calculated locally from retrieved statistics. The longer picture is in where Tracksible sends Plausible data and the privacy policy.

What still depends on your server

Available metrics depend on server version, permissions and plan. We do not publish a Community Edition compatibility matrix or named server versions.

If a view is missing, check what that instance and connection can return. Tracksible cannot show statistics the server will not serve.

Tracksible is not a self-hosted product

Do not list Tracksible as software you install next to Plausible. It is a mobile viewer. You still run Community Edition, backups and upgrades. Buying Pro does not host your stats.
