Plausible Analytics is a paid tool with a 30-day free trial and no free plan. Billed monthly, Starter costs $9, Growth $14 and Business $19 for up to 10k monthly pageviews, and prices rise with traffic. Yearly billing gives 2 months free. Shared links start on Growth. Stats API access starts on Business.
Prices checked on plausible.io on 16 Oct 2026. Plausible changes its plans from time to time, so check plausible.io before you buy. Tracksible is an independent app made by Webjuice. It isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by Plausible Insights OÜ.

What each plan includes
Each plan includes everything in the one below it. Here’s what you add at each step, as listed on plausible.io.
Starter
Starter is for one site. You get 3 years of data retention, the standard dashboard, email and Slack reports, Google Analytics import, goals and custom events, saved segments and annotations.
That covers most solo site owners. What it doesn’t include is any way to share the dashboard or pull data out through the API.
Growth
Growth adds up to 3 sites and up to 3 team members, with team management. It also adds shared links, embedded dashboards, shared segments and shared annotations.
Shared links are the part people miss. A shared link lets someone view a site’s dashboard without a Plausible login. That’s how a lot of agencies give clients access, and it’s one of the ways to connect a phone app.
Business
Business raises the limits to up to 10 sites and up to 10 team members, with 5 years of data retention. It adds custom properties, the Stats API (600 requests per hour), the Data Studio connector, ecommerce revenue attribution, funnels and user journeys, and a consolidated view.
If you want to pull your numbers into another tool, build reports, or hook Plausible up to an AI assistant, this is the plan the pricing table puts the Stats API on.
Enterprise
Enterprise is custom priced. It covers 10+ sites and team members, more than 600 Stats API requests per hour, Sites API access, single sign-on (SSO), a managed proxy, scheduled raw event data exports, 5+ years of retention and priority support. You talk to Plausible’s team to get a quote.
How pricing scales with pageviews
Plausible prices by monthly pageviews, not by seats. The pricing section on plausible.io has a traffic slider. Move it up and the price of each plan goes up with it.
We’ve only quoted the 10k tier here. Prices for higher traffic change as you move the slider, and we’d rather send you to the live slider on plausible.io than print numbers that may be out of date by the time you read this. At the top end of the slider, plans become custom priced.
Two practical points:
- Count pageviews across all the sites on your account, not just your main one.
- If your traffic is seasonal, size the plan for your busy months.
Is there a free plan?
No. Plausible Cloud has no free plan. You get a 30-day free trial with no card, and after that you pay.
The free route is the self-hosted Community Edition. The software is free, but you run the server yourself, which means hosting, updates and backups are your job. If you’re comfortable with that, we’ve written two guides:
For most small businesses, the paid plan is cheaper than the time spent looking after a server. For developers who already run one, self-hosting is a fair choice.
Which plan do you need to check stats on your phone?
This is the question the pricing table doesn’t answer. Plausible doesn’t make its own phone app, so third-party apps connect in one of two ways: a share link or a Stats API key. Which one you can use depends on your plan.
Tracksible, our app for iPhone and Android, supports both. It’s free for one site, and Tracksible Pro is a $9.99 one-time purchase for unlimited sites, every supported date range and home screen widgets. The store shows you the price in your local currency before you pay. Plausible’s fees are separate. There’s no Tracksible account to create.
Share link route (Growth and up)
Shared links come with Growth and above. Create a shared link for a site in Plausible, paste it into Tracksible, and you’re connected. No API key leaves your Plausible account.
It’s also the easy option when a client or teammate owns the Plausible account. They send you a share link and you connect directly. See how the share link dashboard works and how to give clients Plausible access without API keys.
Stats API key route (Business and up)
On Plausible’s pricing table, the Stats API starts on Business. If you’re on Business or Enterprise, you can create a Stats API key and connect with that.
Before you go this way, check that your Plausible plan includes Stats API access. If it doesn’t, a share link is the other way to connect, and Tracksible supports it.
Not sure which to use? Our share link vs API key guide walks through both.
Self-hosted Community Edition
Tracksible also connects to a self-hosted Community Edition instance. What you can see depends on your server version and permissions. There’s no Plausible subscription in this case, only your hosting costs.
If you run several client sites, our agency page covers the multi-site setup.
Plausible vs Google Analytics on cost
Google Analytics 4 is free. Plausible isn’t. So why do people pay?
The trade-offs are the usual ones. GA4 is free but complex, and it relies on cookies, which usually means a consent banner. Plausible is simpler, uses no cookies and keeps visitor data in the EU, and you pay a monthly fee for that. Plausible sets out its side of the argument on its Plausible vs Google Analytics page.
If you only need traffic, sources, pages and goals, and you’d rather not spend time in GA4’s menus, the Starter plan is often enough. If you need deep custom reporting at no cost, GA4 is still the obvious pick.
How to choose, in short
- One site, you’re the only one who looks at it: Starter.
- You want to share a dashboard or use a share link in a phone app: Growth.
- You need the Stats API, funnels or revenue attribution: Business.
- 10+ sites, SSO or raw exports: Enterprise.
- You’d rather run your own server: Community Edition.
